![]() ![]() This example is serial number 7803T and was made in August of 1944. While occupying Czecholasvakia the Germans kept the arms manufacturers working under their supervision, and had the Spreewerke factory produce the P-38 pistol from 1942 to 1945. The Spreewerke factory was located in Czecholasvakia which was invaded and occupied in 1939 until the end of World War 2. ![]() This is an updated.iso of Windows Server 2008 R2 up to February 2017:).Only Standard (Full Installation) 圆4 edition was added.Features:Net Framework 4.6.2.This is an excellent original example of a World War 2 Spreewerke manufactured P-38 pistol made under German occupation for the German Army. Any informative help or references as to the date and value of this pistol is greatly appreciated. ![]() It is my understanding that this might signify the grips were manufactured by Walther. The grips are fairly dark brown with six interrupted lines around the grip screw. The trigger guard appears to have an asterisk. If anyone can help me date this, it is 415 followed by the 't' suffix. However, most of the other Spreewerk P.38s I have seen sport a four-digit serial number, but mine has only three. I have seen pictures of similar P.38s from Spreewerk that are very rough aesthetically, but this pistol seems to be relatively attractive and without any major dings or cuts. I would predict the finish to be at around 80-85%. You'll find one that lists the production charts from Walther, Mauser, and Spreewerk.ĭoes anyone know where I could find this reference? All of the components match save for the magazine and have the the cyq code and 88 waffenamt. You are used to seeing four-digit serial numbers on these pistols because there are far more many of them than there are the three-digit guns, or the two-digit guns, or the single-digit guns. ![]() Pistols shown in detail are the Walther P.38, (0 Series P.38, 480 P.38, ac P.38, Commercial Walter P.38) Mauser P.38, (byf P.38, svw P.38) Spreewerk P.38 (cyq P.38, cvq P.38). This Web Site features a comprehensive, private collection of WWII P.38 known variations and other Axis and Allied pistols. CYQ 3rd variation with matched numbered holster serial. CYQ 2nd variation with e/359 small parts serial number range 50-500 - 208. Also immediately obvious is that Spreewerk did not date their pistols, though I have seen some references on other forums that a basic chart exists that enables someone to roughly date their Spreewerk pistol.ĬYQ very early gun serial number 21. It is marked 'cyq,' which I have easily determined to be of Spreewerk origin from some basic research on the internet. I just recently bought a P.38 pistol that I was hoping to get some guidance on, as I am fairly new to the P.38 scene. ![]()
